9. Blood Clots
Having blood clots is another side effect of vitamin B12. The main role of our heart is to constantly pump blood. The blood goes through a network of blood vessels that will circulate all over our body. Our blood vessels have to be kept clear of any obstructions which will impede the flow of blood.
Sometimes, blood clots can form within the blood vessels, which prevent the blood from flowing through. According to some medical studies, having too much vitamin B12 can lead to the development of blood clots, which prevents the blood from flowing freely.
