5. Fatigue
Fatigue is another possible symptom that normally goes away after two weeks or a few months. In a small portion of people, fatigue may continue for more than 6 months after the initial diagnosis. If fatigue continues for more than 6 months after the initial diagnosis, you will want to see a physician to find out more information. Doctors are unsure of what causes chronic fatigue, but in a study conducted by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, researchers found that chronic fatigue was possibly linked with 38 suppressed genes. There is nothing you can take to relieve fatigue caused by a viral infection. It is best to conserve your energy until your body is fully healed.
