9. Nausea and Vomiting
Patients with tapeworms often experience nausea and vomiting. Nausea and vomiting are some of the most common symptoms associated with a parasite. Nausea may be so severe that it interferes with your ability to eat and receive the proper nutrition while your body is already malnourished. You may also experience a lot of vomiting as your body tries to rid itself of the parasite. Vomiting may contribute to weight loss as well.
