3. Chills or fever and blood pressure
Often skin infections which involve staph can result in chills, fever, and high or low blood pressure. Disorientation can be present as well. That is precisely why open wounds and cuts should be treated immediately! There are many ways to clean wounds, and over the counter medications are popular as preventative measures. They are inexpensive, and available at pharmacies everywhere.
With mild chills, when a body temperature is only about 101F, remember to cover up with only lighter blankets. Do not pile layers of blankets over yourself, as they may make your symptoms even worse. The symptoms of chills call for rest, and drink plenty of fluids. However, remember this can be an indicator of a more serious pathogen, so do not hesitate to see a doctor.
