Another plantar fasciitis sign is having tight calf muscles. Stiffness in calf muscles such as gastrocnemius and the soleus is frequently connected to plantar fasciitis. These muscles are often motionless thus causing pain and distress that is associated with plantar fascia disorder. Overusing calf muscles caused by prolonged running and engaging in different sports activities may trigger the tightening of these muscles.
In order to avoid this from happening, make sure to stretch and warm-up before working out and performing physical activities. It is also beneficial to eat foods with proper nutrition your body needs as well as living a healthier lifestyle to avoid any other illnesses that can be related to plantar fasciitis.
