2. Foot Pain in the Morning
One telling sign of plantar fasciitis is foot pain in the mornings. Our muscles, joints, and ligaments will stay stationary or with very little to no movement when we sleep. This immobility causes the tissues to tighten thus causing pain when we wake up the next day. This condition is usually experienced by people with plantar fasciitis.
To ease the soreness, try some stretching exercises prior to and after sleeping. It is important to note that there is no specific motion or a particular practice to be followed for stretching your affected foot. You may try and find the movement that eases your pain the most and make it a habit to do it before you sleep and right after waking up to avoid further pain.
