8. Feeling Socks Bunched Up

Another common symptom of Morton’s neuroma is having the feeling of socks bunched up in their shoe. Many who unknowingly suffer from the condition experience this symptom and often perceive it as normal. This symptom is characterized by an uncomfortable feeling in the affected foot which makes the affected person fix his/her socks many times.

People who encounter this symptom usually try to figure out which part of the socks is bunched up or not fitting well. The damaged nerve in the metatarsal area of the foot causes this strange sensation and is usually exasperating and disturbing for a lot of people. If changing or fixing socks does not take away the sensation, check your doctor for a potential neuroma.
