4. Gynecomastia
Another symptom of liver cirrhosis is gynecomastia. It refers to the abnormal enlargement of the breast in men. This is usually a result of an extreme case of hormonal imbalance. When a person has liver cirrhosis, the hormone estradiol increases. This causes hormonal imbalance, which then causes the breast of men to increase in size.
Gynecomastia happens when the patient’s level of testosterone drops. However, just like some of the other symptoms discussed, this symptom can also happen due to something else. This is why it is best to see your doctor so he can determine the exact reason behind the enlargement of your breast.
