4. Dysuria
Another sign and symptom of kidney infection is dysuria or difficulty in urinating. This symptom is characterized by a burning, agonizing, and prickling sensation that is felt whenever you urinate.
When you have a kidney infection, there is also a possibility of an inflamed bladder, which causes this pain. This type of symptom is common for people with kidney infections particularly those with acute cases. If you experience painful urination, a consultation and different laboratory examinations are needed to be done as this may lead to the formation of pus, total kidney or renal damage, and even contamination of the blood.
