6. Sinusitis
Another symptom of kennel cough is sinusitis or sinus infection. Since kennel cough is generally a respiratory disease, there is a huge chance for it to develop into other respiratory illnesses such as sinusitis. Sinusitis occurs in the upper respiratory tract and is characterized by having an inflamed sinus. When the sinus is irritated, its function to produce the right amount of fluid to aid in the nasal cavity’s role is disturbed causing headaches and congestion.
If you are suffering from dry cough with occasional headaches and congestion in your nasal cavity, there is a possibility that you have a kennel cough infection. You should have it checked by your physician to prevent the development of further illnesses.
