10 Signs and Symptoms of Gallbladder Problems

9. Dizziness

While you would expect this more with flu or an infection, there are two main reasons it happens with gallbladder problems. A gallbladder infection could get into the blood stream. This drops the blood pressure, which causes dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and confusion.

The second reason for dizziness is known as the vagus nerve. It helps balance the blood pressure, but it can be stimulated by a problem with the gallbladder. The stimulation to the nerve will cause the blood pressure to drop, and dizziness will occur. Contact your doctor immediately if there isn’t another reason for dizziness or fainting.
