4. Difficulty Socializing
One telling sign of autism is having difficulty socializing. A lot of people do not realize that a person who has autism will perceive the world differently. They will have a different way of interpreting the words and actions of other people, which is why they find it difficult to socialize with the average people.
The emotions and body signals that normal people can recognize and interpret are usually not apparent to those who have autism. This makes socializing and communicating with others even more difficult. In addition, a lot of people with autism will have difficulty controlling their emotions and tend to flare-up when responding to a very stressful situation.
