9. Inability to Pass Gas
With all of this going on in the intestinal tract, and to a lesser extent in the abdomen, there is a feeling of pressure building in the colon. This pressure is there, yet it cannot be relieved by passing gas, yet it is undeniably caused by gas. The inability to pass gas is another sign of appendicitis. The lower right pain is going to be the leading indicator and if any of these other symptoms accompany that pain, there is a good chance your appendix is inflamed.
