Having difficulty planning is a sign of alzheimer’s disease. People who have Alzheimer’s disease will usually find it challenging to make plans. This is because this condition can affect a person’s capacity to develop and adhere to certain plans. In most cases, this will manifest itself when planning for social events, such as birthday celebrations and other similar events.
In addition, most patients with Alzheimer’s will find it difficult to recall numbers and are unable to visualize dates and calendars. They tend to forget the due date of their bills and will find it hard to keep track of payments made. The things that they are used to doing will suddenly become more challenging for them. Thus, having a written agenda will be useful for them.
