9. Severe Dehydration
Severe dehydration is also a sign of alcohol poisoning. Although it is not yet clear what are the exact causes of a hangover, some health experts believe that this may be due to dehydration. Drinking a huge amount of alcohol can dehydrate a person, which is why drinking enough water is highly recommended.
Dehydration is not really a cause for concern, but it will leave the person feeling extremely thirsty on the day after. This symptom may not be serious but it poses danger to the patient if left untreated. Extreme dehydration can lead to potential permanent brain damage and may even lead to death.
