4. Hypothermia
Hypothermia is one dangerous symptom of alcohol poisoning. Humans are warm-blooded animals. This means that our body is capable of generating its own heat, so there is no need to rely on heat from the outside. Heat is generated by combusting our food, although there are also other processes that can help to produce heat naturally, such as shivering.
Alcohol will have a direct impact on your body’s ability to produce heat, and as a result, your body will end up feeling colder. Remember that if your inner body temperature goes extremely low, this is potentially dangerous and can lead to a condition called hypothermia. If this happens, you better seek immediate medical assistance.
