10. HIV
A person with immune-compromised condition is highly susceptible to infections, including HIV or Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Sinusitis in patients with HIV is pretty common. Sometimes, it becomes very severe that it can get difficult to treat.
HIV is a type of condition that can weaken the immune system and will compromise the way it works. Thus, people with HIV are at high risk of suffering from different infections, including sinus infection. Furthermore, they have a higher rate of developing sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infections. Aside from sinus infection, HIV also comes with several other symptoms, such as body aches, cough, headaches, and sore throat.
