6. Athletic Exertions
Exercise is good since it helps to keep our body healthy. However, it is common for some to suffer intense heart palpitations after a long run or after a heavy workout session at the gym. This is basically your body’s way of reacting after putting yourself under too much pressure. In most cases, heart palpitations after a strenuous workout will not last for long.
There are also situations when the palpitation will get very severe and will lead to a shortage of breath. Do not be too alarmed as it is not uncommon. You simply have to rest and allow your heartbeat to go back to normal.
