8. Low Fever

Fever is another non specific sign of upper respiratory tract symptom. It is a most common signal that we get from our body to know that something within our system is not functioning properly. It may mean the presence of harmful elements such as viruses and bacteria. When our body detects these dangers, it automatically increases our temperature in an attempt to eliminate them.

Fevers that are associated with upper respiratory tract infections are usually mild and may only have a slight increase in normal temperature. Though these low fevers may range from 99.5°F to 100.3°F, higher temperatures than these should not be neglected as they can indicate a deeper issue.
