7. Headaches and Muscle Aches
In general, many illnesses can be associated with headaches and muscle pain. Headaches can range from minor to almost debilitating, such as migraines. Along with the head pain, the patient may feel nauseous due to the pain. The headache can be treated with acetaminophen or ibuprofen, depending on what your medical professional determines. When combined with one or more of the other symptoms, there is no home treatment. The patient must be treated in the hospital with IV fluids and a variety of antibiotics, also electrolytes. However, TSS is generally resistant to antibiotics.
