9. Emotional Instability
Post-traumatic stress disorder is a result of extreme distress, discomfort, and pain that is felt physically, mentally, and emotionally. People who have PTSD are at high risk of developing emotional instability. Having PTSD itself is huge emotional distress that affects the patient’s life in general.
Emotional instability exhibits a lot of negative expressions such as aggressiveness, belligerence, and having frequent violent reactions to simple situations. Patients with this symptom may also appear as habitually irritated and with a reckless attitude or behavior. An emotionally unstable person should undergo immediate and proper therapy to avoid far more difficult situations that may arise.
