2. Extreme Reactions To Memories Of The Event

Related to the symptom of experiencing recurrent flashbacks, another sign of  post-traumatic stress disorder is having an extreme reaction to remembering a particularly traumatic event. This extreme reaction may manifest through a rapid heartbeat, hyperventilation, dizziness, vomiting, intense nervousness, and excessive sweating.
