5. Tight Achilles Tendons

Having a tight and stiff Achilles tendon is a clear sign of plantar fasciitis. Tightness in this part of the feet mostly leads to developing plantar fascia. Since Achilles tendons and plantar fascia are connected, irritation on one may lead to impairment of the other.

The tightening of the Achilles’ tendons is mostly due to strenuous physical exercises that involve a lot of foot movement or require the feet to bear heavy weights.
