2. Chest Pain
Another symptom of panic attack which is often associated with heart palpitations is chest pain. People who suffer from panic attacks often encounter chest pain as well due to the tightening of chest muscles caused by dyspnoea or breathlessness, nervousness, and rapid heartbeats. Just like heart palpitations, chest pains usually cause confusion with onset signs of a heart attack as they pose similar indications.
It is important to know that chest pain during panic attacks are temporary and should not be felt for a long period of time. If you are having chest pain that is not intermittent, you could be suffering from a deeper issue and should consult your doctor immediately.
