7. Feeling Something in Your Shoe

Much like feeling something in the ball of your foot, the same sensation and suspicion that something is inside your shoes is another common sign and symptom of Morton’s neuroma. The difference between the two would be, the latter sign or symptom often feels like a small stone is present inside the shoes that make the affected person shake off, remove, or even change shoes repeatedly.

It is very rare to experience even mild pain along with this symptom but it often causes irritation, trouble, and unpleasant mood because of the discomfort it brings to the patient.
