5. Feeling Something in the Ball of the Foot

As opposed to numbness, another common symptom of Morton’s neuroma, is the sensation or feeling of having a foreign object present in the ball of the foot. Though this symptom may not be painful, sufferers complain of discomfort or uneasiness especially when they have detected that nothing is physically there on the affected foot.
