10. Dizzy Spells
The dizzy spells associated with Meniere’s are not considered the same as when you stand or move too quickly. Commonly, dizziness can be attributed to medications or some action you took too fast. Our inner ear regulates our balance. When there is a condition taking place with the nerves or too much fluid in the ears, it can cause the person to become dizzy suddenly as if they are going to fall over. Meniere’s disease can begin rapidly, and as such can cause sudden dizzy spells when a patient has an attack or episode of Meniere’s.
