5. Tinnitus
Tinnitus is a persistent ringing in your ears. It is not a disease in itself. More than often, it is a resulting symptom of an underlying condition and it is one of the symptoms of Meniere’s Disease. Sometimes it is the perceived sense of ringing or other noise that persists in your ear or both ears. Tinnitus could also be a symptom of age-related hearing loss, a severe blow or injury to your head or a disorder in your circulatory system. Other reasons could be wax build-up, whiplash or even a side effect of certain medications.

Tinnitus cannot be used as the only determining factor of Meniere’s Disease. Only a qualified medical professional can make this determination.
