One other is sign of liver cirrhosis is having bad breath. Bad breath can happen for various reasons. However, if the person practices proper dental hygiene, yet he or she still has a foul-smelling breath, it can indicate the presence of an illness, such as liver cirrhosis.
Bad breath in liver cirrhosis can happen due to the increased level of dimethyl sulfide. This is a substance that is produced if the liver is not functioning properly.
