Another common symptom of liver cirrhosis is the presence of spider veins or blood vessels. In most cases, the spider veins appear when the artery that is surrounded by smaller vessels is affected by liver damage.
Of course, spider veins can happen due to several other conditions as well. This is why it is best to see your doctor when you notice the presence of spider veins to determine the exact causes behind them. Spider veins in liver cirrhosis can happen due to the increase of hormone estradiol, which causes the vessels to enlarge and hence become visible in the skin.
