8. Hematuria
Another sign of kidney infection is Hematuria or having blood in urine. When someone is suffering from a kidney infection, there is a huge possibility of presence of blood in the urine. Most of the time, the blood present cannot be seen by the naked eye but can be clearly distinguished through microscopes. It can be observed in around 30% of female sufferers and is most frequently experienced by young women.
This condition is sometimes called hemorrhagic cystitis. Hematuria may not only indicate a simple kidney infection, but it may also mean more serious illnesses such as bladder and kidney cancer. Consider hematuria as a condition which require immediate medical attention.
