7. Low blood pressure
Low blood pressure is a strong indicator that you have internal bleeding. When you bleed internally, your blood pressure drops. Think of it as plumbing. If you have a pipe that has a hole in it you are not going to be able to get the pressure that you usually would to drain water from your sink through the sewage system. If there is a hole somewhere, it needs to be patched up so that you can stop bleeding and your blood pressure will return to normal.
8. Blood in the stool
Having blood in your stool will indicate that there is bleeding anywhere in your gastrointestinal tract. This include anywhere from the esophagus to the stomach, colon, rectum and anus. A telling sign that you have blood in your stool is when your stools are black and tarry, or there will be clear signs of blood in the toilet bowl. Clear signs of blood is usually a signal that you have bleeding from your stomach or the duodenum. In terms of diagnosis, a doctor will have to run a scope from both ends of the gastrointestinal tract in order to see where the blood is coming from.
