4. Stomach Issues
These are perhaps the most common and bothersome problems for those suffering from abdominal hernias. Nausea, heartburn, irregular digestion, and acid reflux can all be caused by untreated abdominal hernias. Additionally, inguinal hernias can also cause this type of problem if they are moving back and forth between the groin and the abdominal wall. If you are experiencing severe nausea and vomiting it is possible that it has become strangulated and you should seek medical attention. If left untreated, you may experience difficulty passing gas or using the bathroom.
