7. Light-headedness or Fainting
Due to the lack of oxygen in the heart’s bloodstream, someone suffering from a heart attack may experience dizziness which often progresses to light-headedness and even fainting. The symptom itself usually disappears over the course of time. In some cases, it lasts a little bit longer than usual but mostly heals on its own.
There are multiple reasons why people experience light-headedness and fainting. Some of it is a lack of blood supply in the body, insufficient oxygen in the brain, hypoglycemia, hypotension, hyperventilation, anxiety, and increased white blood cells. It is crucial to determine the cause behind it in order to treat it properly.
