9. Reddening
One sign of glaucoma is reddening of the eyes. As the pressure intensifies, the eye can become red and this is usually due to the increased pressure in the eyes that can affect the blood vessels which are near the eye surface. Once the fluid presses into the blood vessels, they will enlarge and dilate, which makes the reddening of the eyes even more visible
The pressure in the eyes can also cause the surrounding eye areas to become more sensitive. This can also lead to eye puffiness. When this happens, make sure you visit your doctor because this can be a serious type of glaucoma.
