5. Blurry Vision

Blurry vision is also a telling sign of glaucoma. When a patient starts losing vision because of angle-closure glaucoma, he or she will rarely experience pure darkness. Some patients have described the vision as being cloudy. There are also those who can see almost normally, although their sight is somewhat blurry.

Depending on the manner in which glaucoma will progress, the vision can steadily transition from normal to blurry.  However, the symptoms of some patients can develop suddenly and at a rapid pace. When this happens, the vision can get worse within only a few minutes. However, having a blurry vision is not always due to glaucoma. It can also be a symptom of more serious problems, so it is best to see an eye doctor.
