4. Headaches
Headache is another common symptom so glaucoma. Aside from pain in the eyes, some people who have angle-closure glaucoma will also experience headaches and a general pain in the head. Some patients will describe the pain as a dull ache while others will feel a sharp sensation that originates from the eyes or the forehead.
Just like the eye pain, the headaches that the patient feel will vary in severity. For those who only experience a slight pressure increase, the pain should be easy to manage. However, for some patients, the pain can be of the same level as that of a migraine.
