7. Belching
Belching is a common gastritis symptoms as patients with gastritis are usually prone to belching. Belching refers to the act of expelling air in the stomach from the mouth. This usually happens if the patient ends up swallowing a lot of air. Thus, they will find themselves burping very loudly. Sometimes, it comes with odor and is more frequent after eating.
Belching can somehow help to relieve the pain in the abdomen, especially after constant indigestion. Indigestion can lead to having excessive gas in the digestive tract. However, for people with gastritis, belching will not relieve the pain in the abdomen.
