4. Vomiting
Nausea in gastritis is sometimes accompanied by vomiting. However, this only happens in rare cases, as vomiting is not a common symptom of gastritis. However, for more severe cases of gastritis, the patient can end up vomiting especially after eating large and heavy meals.
Just like with nausea, some patients will relieve their gastritis symptom with over the counter medications just so they will feel better. Unfortunately, some medications can do more harm than good. These medicines will only aggravate the symptom since patients with gastritis often have an overly sensitive stomach. Thus, they can find themselves vomiting even more. It is best to talk to a health expert for the best possible treatment.
