4. Fever And Chills
The brain increases body temperature in response to anything abnormal or threatening in the body. Since gallbladder attack symptoms are definitely abnormal, the brain gives the body a fever in order to prevent the abnormality from proliferating inside the body like a virus would do.
The chills come from the body trying to rise up to meet this new temperature change.

Your body actually is colder than this new temperature, so it will shake and shiver with chills. As the bile moves around the blockage in the duct and processing returns to normal, the fever and chills will disappear.
