7. Abdominal Pain

The abdominal area houses different vital organs in the body including the stomach, kidneys, uterus, bladder, liver, intestines, spleen, and pancreas. Although this is not a common symptom of fifth disease, it can be caused by related and more common signs such as upset stomach or diarrhea.

Abdominal pain can be a result of other disorders as well such as infection, urinary tract infection, premenstrual syndrome, constipation, appendicitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, pancreatitis, and more. Sometimes, abdominal pain can be eased by pain relievers but an actual medical treatment or prescription requires a doctor’s appointment and other laboratory examinations.
