2. Headache
Another non-specific symptom of fifth disease is a headache. Headache is an ailment which is experienced every now and then, or regularly, even by healthy individuals. It mostly occurs on the temples of the head, back of the neck, around the forehead, and behind the eyes. There are a lot of factors that can trigger a headache, such as lack of sleep, water, food, tiredness, extremely loud surroundings, drugs, colds, injuries, and more.
Headaches due to minor causes usually disappear on their own. However, in some cases, pain relievers are prescribed to ease the distress. Consult your doctor if you have a recurring or constant headache as it can indicate a symptom of fifth disease.
