6. Dizziness
Dizziness is another ear infection symptom which people will often experience. The body’s balance is controlled in the ear, which explains why a patient will feel dizzy. If the ear becomes irritated and inflamed, it will make it difficult for the patient to keep in balance, which explains the feeling of dizziness. There are also instances where the patient will feel confused and disoriented. If ear infection is not treated, the swelling may get worse to the point that it blocks the person’s ability to hear. It is therefore important to seek medical treatment at the onset of ear infection.
