4. Uncontrolled Coordination

You may gradually or suddenly notice some problems with the coordination of your arms and legs. One symptom of conversion disorder is unwanted muscle movements in the arms and legs. This can occur in any part of the body. These movements are involuntary, meaning that you make no concentrated effort to move your arms and legs. These involuntary muscle movements may quit as soon as they start or may linger, causing you distress and worry. Movements usually develop all of a sudden and may progress rapidly and to a severe level. Movements may or may not increase in intensity.
