10 Signs and Symptoms of Conversion Disorder

2. Body Weakness

Conversion disorder can also cause body weakness. You may notice some weakness in your arms or legs.  This can possibly develop into paralysis or inability to move any of your limbs. When this happens, you may wonder if you had a stroke or heart attack. Full or partial paralysis in any extremity will likely put anyone in a panic mode. More often than not, you will head to the hospital emergency immediately.

The weakness you feel in your extremities may be attributed to many causes, including flu. You may initially make excuses and find that there could be a number of things causing this feeling of weakness in your extremities and it will soon go away.
