5. Cognitive Impairment
Cognitive impairment is also a sign of chronic fatigue syndrome. People with chronic fatigue syndrome will find it difficult to process the things that are going on around them. Compared to others, they cannot think quickly enough, and even the smallest obstacles are difficult for them to resolve.
Due to cognitive impairment, people with chronic fatigue syndrome cannot think clearly and their ability to think will be impaired considerably. Sometimes, they will struggle to recall things in the short term and will even forget the things they are saying before they even finish the sentence. This will become apparent in their speech since they will struggle in putting together a meaningful sentence.
