2. Burning Sensation in different parts

Another symptom of BMS that is most commonly experienced by affected persons is a burning sensation in different parts of the mouth. The pain can be felt simultaneously or in one part at a time. The most commonly affected region is the tongue.

In some cases, pain can also be felt or extended to the lips and even to the crest of the mouth. If this symptom is not treated, intense pain can be encountered. Most sufferers characterize it as mere discomfort while some tend to be harmful to the patient. If you experience a burning sensation in one or multiple parts of your mouth, check with your doctor for a possible diagnosis of BMS.
