8. Vomiting
Vomiting, also known as barfing, happens as a result of the forceful or involuntary expulsion of the contents in the stomach, which will be expelled through the mouth or nose. Just like with the other symptoms of bowel obstruction, vomiting is a non-specific symptom that can also occur in other conditions, such as food poisoning, gastritis, brain tumors, and more. Sometimes, vomiting happens after nausea.
If you find yourself vomiting often and you also experience some other symptoms of bowel obstruction, it is best to see your doctor. Do not try to self medicate as this might just worsen your situation.
