The unusual sleeping pattern can interfere with the body’s working clock, which is responsible for regulating sleep patterns. This symptom can be experienced even when the child becomes an adult. The lack of sleep among kids with autism can lead to learning issues, behavioral problems, and daytime sleepiness.
