Some patients who have Alzheimer’s will also encounter problems with their vision. These difficulties will manifest when they are reading a newspaper or book since the letters will appear blurry to them. Hence, they will find it hard to go from one sentence to another.

Another vision-related issue that patients with Alzheimer’s often experience is the difficulty of judging the distance between two things. They will also find it challenging to identify colors, and thus, they will not be able to distinguish certain shades of colors. As such, people with Alzheimer’s should not be allowed to drive unattended since they may not be able to recognize traffic lights.
